Cowhide

This leather type is the most popular leather used for gloves due to the mix of comfortability, durability, and economical price. Cowhide is inherently more heat resistant than goatskin.

Goatskin

Goatskin leather is the strongest and most durable type of leather. The feel of goatskin on the hands is very flexible and supple. Goatskin is inherently resistant to water and chemicals and should be used for tasks that require more dexterity.

Deerskin

Deerskin is very soft but extremely durable and many consider this leather the most comfortable to wear for longer periods of time. It is inherently the warmest leather type as well.
